Wrestling is the road less traveled by young athletes. Don't be ordinary; wrestle ... and be extraordinary!
- Head Coach Tomas Reyes III
I truly enjoy working on the mat with young wrestlers, helping them to become better competitors and even better citizens. Every great athlete had to start somewhere…let Kings Youth Wrestling be your start.

Coach's Cards/
Bronze Clinic
In addition to the annual coach’s card (currently $30) all coaches will be required to have Coach’s Certification (Copper or Bronze) to be on the mat.
Fila Rules
Effective as of the 2005-2006 season, SDIKWA has adopted FILA wrestling rules and regulations for kids. There are some very significant changes from previous years. All coaches need to be informed about these rules before they step on the mat.If a dispute comes up during a match that you are coaching, it is essential that you have done your due diligence ahead of time to understand the rules and, above all else, that you address the officiating staff with the respect they deserve.
Coaching your own kid
Please note that if you have a coach’s card and are out on the mat, in addition to being an involved parent YOU ARE A COACH.Understand that being on the mat requires a commitment to all of athletes and a commitment maintaining a positive image for the club through a constructive attitude and use of appropriate language.
